Botao Amber Hu, the founder of Holo Interactive were invited to give a lecture at IDM NYU and showcases product demo at ITP. Amber Hu spoke about design thinking for face-to-face multiplayer AR, followed by a demo of our product.
The purpose of the event was to share our research and product with the students at NYU ITP, and encourage more XR developers to use HoloKit X to create innovative content. Botao and the students engaged in a discussion about XR content creation and demonstrated how to create AR content on Unity for HoloKit X. The students enjoyed the demo of HoloKit, which enabled them to experience multiplayer life action AR games.
HoloKit X is an excellent way to distribute XR content for two reasons. First, it is priced at an accessible $129 compared to other AR devices in the market. Second, it is built on the iOS platform, which already has a wide distribution. This makes it easier for developers to reach a larger audience with their XR content.
We are currently testing the HoloKit SDK, which will be available in the future for researchers, students, and developers to create their own stereoscopic AR applications. If you would like to learn more about HoloKit X and education, we invite you to read our blog.
If you are interested in inviting Holo Interactive to give a talk, please contact us at pr@holokit.io. We would be delighted to share our knowledge and product to more universities and students.
