HoloKit attends AR House Halloween Hackathon

In October 2022, HoloKit was invited by Zerospace and AR House to attend the NYC branch of AR House’s Halloween Hackathon. This event was an opportunity for HoloKit to demo its product with peers from Niantic, CMU, and developers from the XR industry.

Get ready to be spooked!

At the AR House Halloween Hackathon, the HoloKit team created a bone-chilling interactive AR content that tasked players with rescuing a crying baby from the clutches of an invisible ghost. As the player navigated through the space, they had to be on the lookout for the ghost, who would only reveal itself when in close proximity. With the added horror sound effects, players had to react quickly to avoid being caught by the ghost. The result? A hauntingly immersive experience that left attendees impressed.

Most Immersive Prize

HoloKit's interactive AR content won the "Most Immersive Prize". Attendees were impressed with what HoloKit is capable of.
